In the Brooklyn League Andre Kirton registered his second ton scoring 126 against his former club Diplomats as Middlessex surged to the top of the league tables with two wins.

In other matches, Jinnah blew a chance to beat Warriors in their reduced 25 over affair out at Beach 58 Street, Far Rockaway. Batting first Warriors amassed 153, with Captain Suhail Chowdry scoring 48 with Asad Mohammed posting 40, Nasir Mehdi was the pick of the bowling picking up 3 wickers. In Reply Jinnah were in early trouble at 32 for 4 but Farhan 36 consolidated with Atiq 21 to repair the damage. Following the fall of Farhan and Atiq, Raheel 26 and Umair 23 brought the game from 30 off 18 balls to 8 runs needed in the last over.
Ata Khan bowling the last over continued his miserly bowling keeping the pressure on the batsmen. Umair missed the first delivery, and then loft a simple catch to long off adding to the nerves. With still 8 runs needed off 4 balls Raheel like Umair again missed leaving 8 from 3. In the end Jinnah could only get four runs to lose by three runs in a close affair in the Brooklyn Invitational Tournament. Ata Khan snared three wickets to putting a man of the match performance for Warriors.
Metropolitan League resumed with win for table toppers Westbury, Villagers, Progressive and Cosmos.
