Sankar joined the crew caught for 8, however, Terry Hastoo 37, Zamin Amin 30, Sohan Dass 40 not out and Sham Ali 21 not out saw Everest home.

On a hot hazy and humid day on June 30th at Baisley Park (cage), Village Rams’ captain was all Smiles, as he won the toss and without hesitation elected to bat first.

However,that smile turned into sorrow as they was bundle out for a paltry 115 in 26.1 overs. Haseeb Shariff 3 for 52, Lincoln Deonarine 2 for 12 and Sohan Dass 2 for 13 were the main destroyers.

Needing 116 for Victory , Everest batsmen hit off the required runs for the loss of 3 wickets in 18 overs. Debo Sankar and Ganesh Ramsingh struck 27 each while Sohan Dass hit 24, Royo Sankar 19  and Zamin Amin 4 remained unbeaten. Bowling for Village Rams C.Domar and T.Gordon had 1 wicket each.
