Richmond Hill cricket club, set and ready for big games ahead as the Division A round robin heats up. Their batsmen pounded Liberty SC for a 300-plus total; their bowling, consistent,  and led by Deryck McDonald with 3 wickets, ensured the total was a winning one. The Sadloo Brothers’ entertain the small crowd with half-centuries. Zaheer,  looked a man playing his first game of the season only briefly, as he scorched the already burnt grass with glorious cover drives and spanking square cuts with a 57 ball 58 (11×4) while Shameer 35 ball 51 included 2 towering sixes and 6 well timed fours.

Earlier, Debo Sankar was at his usual best, struck a well compose 49 of 44 balls(8×4).Imran Alli  made 21. West Indies and Guyana pacer Brandon J. Bess making his Richmond Hill debut struck a quick fire 31 off just 13 deliveries with( 4×4 ) and his only 6 ended up on the Long Island Expressway. Royo Sankar was run out as usual for 22, (fourth of the season) going for a  second run. Deryck McDonald took the score past 300, with a Cameo unbeaten 35(6×4-1×6). RHCC wickets fell at 36(I.Alli), 118(D.Sankar), 159(Z.Sadloo), 170(B.Bess), 251 (R.Sankar), 253 (S.Sadloo) and 299 (M.Seeram).For Liberty SC Imtiaz Hassan was the only decent  bowler with figures of 8-2-25-2 wickets,as the rest was clobbered around the park.

Set a massive 302 for 7 off 40 overs at 7.55 run an over. Liberty was off to a disastrous start their first 4 wickets ( A.Harricharran 1, M,Noble 7, T.Madramootoo 4 and C.Khilawan 20) all falling for 60 runs.  However, Danesh Deonarine 35 (6×4) and Imtiaz Hassan 55 (6×4) ( 3×6) ,put some respectability to their score with a partnership of 70. Thakur Singh chipped in with 26 , as the rest of the tail fell for 3 runs. The Final score 179 all out in 37.2 overs. LSC wickets fell at 5 (A.Harricharran) ,21(M.Nble) , 52 (C.Khilawan) , 60 (T.Madramootoo) ,107 (D.Deonarine) , 107 (T.Khilawan) , 170 (I.Hassan) ,176 (V.Singh) , 176 (T.Singh) ,179 (R.Jagnarine).

Liberty losing their third match in as many matches in Division A play. Richmond Hill has now won two with a solitary defeat and will be pressing all others for a top four place.
