Team Predictor: TnT Must Win Against Yorkshire

by Dyon Ravello

As the old adage goes “no rest for the wicked!” Wicked cricketers, sure they are, in the colloquial sense of the word. Mere days after a comprehensive win at the World Cup Twenty20, Trindad and Tobago’s players continue the hunt for supremacy.  The Red Force will be eager to make a two for two celebrations for the Caribbean. As is the case in Twenty T20 cricket, there is little time for pause. Team TnT enter the first Qualifying match against Yorkshire already in must win situation.

World Cup T20 Winner Denesh Ramdin with the toughest of tasks, filling Ganga’s Shoes and Emulating Sammy Feat.

Yorshire won against UVA Next in game one, pressuring the Trinibagonians right from the start. Already asked to qualify for the main event the 2009 finalist, will need to win at the first a time of asking as was the case in 2011. Denesh Ramdin is leading his country for the first time at the Champions League, and is keen to secure two victories to qualify for the main event. Daren Ganga, Ramdin’s predecessor, has set high standards to follow, but even without the iconic leader, Ramdin will be poised to supercede the feats of Champions League past. Team confidence will be exponential with the World Cup triumph still very fresh.

Even without Sunil, Keiron and Dwayne, Denesh and Co will be buoyed to emulated the feats of another Darren, Sammy that is, in being champions of the world.
