Amarnauth Persaud scored 51 and scalped 5/12 to earn the player of the week

As the EACA Power 40 enter the penultimate round of the Zonal phase of the EACA Power 40 competition, Meten-Meer-Zorg (MMZ) remained the only unit with an impeccable record (6-0). MMZ turned in a dominant display over Camelot. MMZ 240 in 35 overs, Trevis Ross 74, Richie Seiuchan 59 and Amarnauth Persaud 51. Bowling for Camelot T Surujpaul 4/25, Michael Katwaroo 3/12 and K Singh 2/40. Camelot failed to maintain their momentum as they were routed for 83 in 20.3 overs. Only Singh 18 and N Persaud 14 got into double digits as Amarnauth ripped through the batting with 5/12. Rocky Kowchai has 3/14 as MMZ look go 7-0 when they meet Arsenal.

Big Apple 359/9 Zaheer Saffie 107, Alexandrino Kirton 54 and Francis Mendonca 31.  For Long Island United (LIUCC) B Jalal 3/58, A Kamal 2/54 and Tahir Khan 2/71. LIUCC 213 in 39.4 overs Sajjid Khan 52, Kamal 51 and Waqas Ashiq 31. Mendonca 3/13, and Kirton 2/42 led the bowling for Big Apple to complete a convincing 146 run victory.

Centurion we unable to continue their impressive showing as they were restricted to a paltry 121 in 31 overs, D Sewanan 38 was the only notable contribution. G Mangal 4/28 and G Lalisa 3/16 led the bowling for Hillside. Hillside made light work of the total to complete a seven wicket win in 19 overs. Captain Zamal Khan 54 and B Persaud 26 were unbeaten.

Arsenal strengthened their position in the pursuit of a top four finish with a comfortable win over Falcons. Arsenal 239/9 Lisan Chowdhary 67, Ali Alvi 65 and S Carter 45. For Falcons I khan 3/32, M Hariprashad 2/25 and Komal Shamsundar 2/45. Falcons remained rooted as they posted a competitive response with 185 in 31 overs. Mark Shamsundar 72 and Zulfiqar Alli 25 were not enough for R Shahid 3/21 and F Ahmed 3/42. Arsenal completing the 54 run brace.
