Richmond Hill continue their reign over the EACA with a crushing victory over Camelot. Sudesh Dhaniram posted 246 as he left Camelot hurt and badly wounded. Richmond Hill posting an imposing 376/3. Camelot were unable to get in a punch of their own as they were routed for 84. I Chin 28 was as good as the other four batsmen who came to the crease for Richmond Hill. Kumar Nandlall 3/20 and Skipper Shameer Sadloo 2/14 ensured that the leaders maintained top position. Camelot with some work on their hands to prove that they belong in the top flight.

Arsenal who played second fiddle all throughout 2012, continued their impressive run with a narrow two wicket victory over American Cricket Society(ACS). ACS 2012 Power 40 and T20 Blitz winners succumbed to their second defeat of the season after scoring 212/9. Captain Karan Ganesh 59 and Dwayne Smith 46 not out were the main stays during the ACS innings. G Dass had three wickets with S Zaman and A Ali sharing two each. Dass followed up his impressive bowling return with an unbeaten half century to guide his side home. Lisan Chowdhary 54 and Zaman 31 maintained the momentum for Arsenal. With four run outs, Ganesh was the most successful ACS bowler with 2/39. Arsenal’s win has propelled them to fifth with 32 points three points clear of ACS. ACS will be rooting for all comers in the coming fixtures.

Big Apple made light work of Galaxy as they restricted Galaxy to 126 all out. K Harricharran 21 was the most noteworthy performer. Seamer Francis Mendonca 3/25, R Balram 2/16 and Himendra Ramdihall 2/23 asserted the pressure for Big Apple. Mendonca returned to complete a match winning performance with 51, along with Rex Ramdeen 53 to preempt the victory even as four wickets fell. For Galaxy Y Bissnauth had 3/25 with Big Apple moving to 37 pts five off leaders Richmond Hill.

Atlantis faced Hillside in the clash of the third place teams from their respective zones. Hillside batting first posted a competitive total 234/9, with skipper Zamal Khan 72, R Latcha 50 and Alvin Kalimootoo 34. For Atlantis Prashant Nair led his side with an impressive return of 5/53, Hugh Craig provided support with 3/27. Openers Henderson Blades 85 and Keon Lake 78 provided the initial platform with Alex Amsterdam unbeaten on 37 to complete a convincing seven runs victory.
