The United States of America Cricket Umpires Association (USACUA) will hold its second annual Memorial Match on Labor Day. USACUA will contest the local administration, New York Cricket Region XI as they seek to hold on to bragging rights earned in 2012. Match begin at 10am on Monday September 2nd, at Canarsie Oval in Brooklyn.
The 20 Over affair will provided an exhibition of the officials and administrators, talents in playing roles on this rare occasion. A year earlier the match went to proverbial 12 rounds and the UMPIRES sneaked away with a narrow one wicket win. Another keenly contested encounter is expected as the Regional Selection seek to overturn the earlier result.
USACUA Squad: Deoraj S., Q. Farooq, W. Ricketts, S. Mustaq, J. Emmanuel, M. Lewis, S. Mulcare, D. Ravello, V. Mangal, M. Ebanks, Neptune, V. Green, M. S. Baksh, R. Khan, V. Reeves, C. Modeste, P Whittaker, D. Katte, L. Thomas, M. Chowdhary, N. Grant, and F. Hayles.
Mr Ravello, you played for the opposition last year it will be very difficult for you to find a place in this power house of a team.
