Villagers, Westbury Stay Ahead as Cosmos Rebound

Villagers stayed ahead in MCL after defeating New Hope by 63 runs. Westbury continued undefeated as they got the better of Mid Island by 129 runs. Cosmos rebounded from two consecutive losses to thump Lucas by seven wickets.  Suburbia restricted Frank Parson to win by seven wickets. Islandwide won again as they got past Spice Island by 8 wickets. River Valley lost only two wickets in their win over Liberty.  Lions continued without a win this term as Staten Island won by 54 runs. See results and standings below.

Progressive  276 for 9 thumped  Pioneer  148 all out by 128 runs

Lucas 103 all out  lost to Cosmos 107 for 3 by seven wickets

Frank Parson 77 all out lost to Suburbia 79 for 3 by seven wickets

Westbury 249 for 6 whipped Mid Island 120 all out by 129 runs

Liberty 102 all out lost to River Valley 103 for 2 by eight wickets

Spice Island  157 all out fell to Island wide    158 for 2 by eight wickets

Staten Island 202 for 5 topped Lions 148 all out by 54 runs

Villagers 248 for 4 beat New Hope 185 for 3 {A  Campbell 101 not out] by 63 runs
