Trinson Carmichael makes a return to the Brooklyn League after a season’s Hiatus

Brooklyn Cricket League (BCL) has increased its membership to a dozen clubs for the 2013 season. Set to make their BCL debut this season are New York Youth Cricket Club, Pak Stallions,  and St. Catherine CSC all making the move from American. The BCL list is completed with Cavaliers, Diplomats, Imperial, Middlesex, Panthers, Queensbury, Sheffield, Travel Treat and Wanderers all returning from the 2012 season. The 2013 season commences on May 11 with the annual curtain-raiser when the President’s XI tackle 2012 Treble winners Panthers. The match will be followed by the 2012 Presentation ceremony, to recognize all the highlights of the 2012 season.

League play gets on the way on May 19th with three matches at Marine Park; Wanderers host Imperial at ground A, St Catherine face Queensbury at B, and Sheffield battle Diplomats at C. League 40 over play will continue through the months of June, and July. League 20/20 Knockout begins on August 3rd, with the draws to be determined. On Sunday August 11 the top eight League 40 team will contest the quarterfinal round. League 35 Over Knockout begins on August 25th. League 40 Championship will be held on September 8th, followed by 35  Over Knockout on the 15th and T20 final a week later on the 22nd. Complete BCL 2013 Schedule: BKLYN_LEAGUE_SCH_2013_001[1]
