Mr. Mohammed S. Baksh, has been selected to the WICB Development Panel of Umpires to umpire in the WICB under-15 Regional Tournament in Jamaica. The tournament is expected to run from July 10 through July 27, 2013.

Baksh the son of former ICC Panel Umpire Mohammed N. Baksh, has officiated at the highest level here in the US, standing in Regional tournaments as well as the famed US Open tournament among others. Baksh continues to work diligently each year through the United States of America Cricket Umpires Association (USACUA) as a tutor at the the organization’s annual in-class umpiring course.

Baksh is another example of the wealth of cricket talent within the USA not only in the players pool but also within the umpiring ranks. This assignments complements the number of US based umpires who have aced the West Indian Cricket Umpires Association’s Exams on a perennial basis.
