Joe Siewharack Elected American Cricket League (NY) President
The American Cricket League held there Elections of officers on January 25th 2014 for the term 2014/2015. The presiding officer was Henderson Clarke (past president).
New President Joe Siewharack thanked all those who voted for him, and hopes to charter a new course towards improving and developing the league further. He thanked Mr. Wesley King the outgoing president for his dedicated service to the league after 10 years and also thanked the many past presidents since the league started in 1966. Joe said he will be doing what he thinks is best for Cricket and also to make the ACL the best league in the NY Cricket Region (NYCR) and by extension the USA. He welcomed all the new elected members and promise to work together with the new committee.
Joe warned all clubs that the league will be more serious in most areas and will implement new development. Siewarack asked all club members to work together with them, because the league really is the clubs and not the executive and with that cooperation, all will benefit. Finally he thanked Mr. Henderson Clarke for being the election officer and also for continuously providing a headquarters for the ACL. He thanked all participant and looked forward to a fantastic 2014 Cricket season.
