Eastern American Power 40 Divisional Preview

After eight Zonal matches the EACA Power 40 Competition moves on to divisional play. With this season’s expansion from 16 to 18 clubs, Division I has been increase to 10 teams to accommodate the increase. Division II will have eight challengers for the second tier trophy.  In Division I clubs will play five match against only opponents from the alternate zone. The same is true for Division II with only four opponents per team. A sample Divisional fixture for a may look like:

All points and net run-rates will carry over from the zonal phase. The top four teams from each division will compete at the respective divisional semifinal and finals. Divisional action gets on the way this weekend with a full card of nine matches across the two divisions:
