The “Cage,” Baisley Cricket Park at Foch Boulevard, played host to one of the four groups during the American College Cricket, North Eastern Conference played on October 5th. Boston University, Penn State and New Jersey Institute of Technology, squared off for the right to a semifinal berth.

Game I: Boston won the toss and took first strike against Penn State. Sayad Shabbar 25 and captain Hayat Khan 22 provided the platform, as the Terriers were restricted to 122 in 16.2 overs. Penn State were led by skipper Chirag Methani 2/14, Saurav Mandal 2/18 and Vidulan Surendran 2/22.

Penn State were in no mood to release the pressure as they responded with a 62 run opening stand. Methani followed up his exploits with the ball with a well-crafted knock, which yielded 36. Rohit Reddy who had three catches in the field, performed the perfect finisher role as he contributed 42 of an unbeaten 58 run fourth wicket stand to complete a commanding seven wicket win with 32 deliveries to spare.

Game II: Boston needed to win to stay alive as they faced NJIT. Khan won the toss and took strike like he did against Penn. Only the Khan with 27 offered any resistance as the Terriers wilted to 75 all out in 13.4 overs. Seamer Tej Patel 3/18, Raj Bhavsar 4/9 and Vishi Bhabra 2/0 were responsible for the wreckage.

For NJIT openers Vixar and Bhavsar added 41 from 19 balls to set the tempo. Bhavsar completed the rout smashing four boundaries and five towering sixes in an unbeaten innings of 48. NJIT eliminated Boston with a superfluous nine-wicket victory, 80/1 in just 5 overs at a sweltering rate of 16 runs per over.

Game III: With Boston on the way north along the I-95, Penn State and NJIT met in the virtual quarterfinal. NJIT batted first and continued in the same vain with Vixar 21 and Bhavsar 32 as the card read 78 at the end of the fifth over. Following the early blitzkrieg only a cameo of 28 by Tej Patel boosted NJIT to 190/8. NJIT scored 112 runs off the last 15 overs at 7.47 per over compare to 15.6 earlier. For Penn, Surendran, Suyash Agrawal, Mehtani, Mandal, Rishab Jain, Reddy and Hisan Mir had a wicket each.

Vixar struck two early wickets as Pervez had one of his own to strangle Penn at 12/3 after the second over. Penn State not daunted by the imposing target as they maintained a run rate near and around the target. Reddy lead the charge with another cameo, as Jain looked to make a name for himself as well. Reddy fell to Bhavsar going for a third consecutive whip, Prem taking a skier at point.
Suredran and Mir combined to rally Penn as they kept their side in the hunt. Mir turned up the heat as he thumped Pervez to long on for a boundary and then followed up with a fencer. But Pervez has the last say as he worked the timber, Mir with a valuable 27. Surendran looked to be the last salvo but when he was caught in the cover off Prem’s only over for a topscore of 39 the rest were mere formalities. Both Vivar and Pervez with 2/29 as NJIT held their nerve to complete a narrow 11 wicket win to advance.

The Black Side Of Sport

CSA likely to introduce quota for black African players

Firdose Moonda

Mahkhaya Ntini the most successful Black African player since readmission

Makhaya Ntini the most successful Black African player since readmission

The idea was one of many, which came up at CSA’s one addressing racial issues they held in a decade. ESPNcricinfo has learned it was overwhelmingly welcomed at the meeting in the face of South Africa’s poor record of Africanisation in the 22 years post readmission. On the same day South Africa’s domestic season gets underway, CSA will vote on a proposal which could change the way it looks. At their October 11 meeting, a decision will be taken on introducing a quota, which will require franchise teams to play two black African players, and provincial teams to field three. A senior official expects the motion to be approved.

“Everybody agreed that we have failed in terms of black African players and that drastic measures must be taken,” Norman Arendse, CSA’s lead independent director who is also chair of the transformation committee, told ESPNcricinfo.

Since 1991, only five black African players have represented South Africa at Test level even though black Africans comprise almost 80% of the country’s population. Makhaya Ntini is the only one who has played more than 100 Tests, with his number of caps coming in at 101, while Mfuneko Ngam, Thami Tsolekile, Monde Zondeki and Lonwabo Tsotsobe have appeared in 17 matches all told.

By contrast, 11 mixed-race players have donned the whites and three of Asian origin, including Pakistani-born legspinner Imran Tahir. Arendse said those cricketers, including the likes of Vernon Philander and Hashim Amla, illustrate the success of targets.

South Africa introduced a quota system in 1998 to address the racial discrimination caused by the Apartheid system. The stipulation then was that every team had to field four players of color – a term, which encompasses black Africans, mixed-race people and those of Asian descent. It was officially removed in 2007.

While Arendse hailed its achievements, he also explained that it shed light on the true nature of racial segregation in South Africa. “It showed us the stark disparity caused by Apartheid and how the black African community often had it a lot worse,” he said.

“There are two obvious reasons why we don’t see as many black African players coming through. One is the socio-economic condition facing black African youngsters compared to their counterparts, especially as cricket is still very much a middle-class game. And the other is downright racism. There is enough black African talent but it seems to get lost.”

A recent report presented to CSA contained information that most black African players give up the game between the under-19 and provincial level, at an age at which, if they are not contracted, will need to find jobs. Arendse’s other point was also underlined in the report as it revealed when black African players do get into the system, they are often further sidelined. Only two black African players turned out in more than 80% of their franchises’ games last season and when they did, they bowled less overs and batted lower down than players of other races.

CSA is hopeful this will change if the proposal is approved next Friday, the same day the domestic one-day cup gets underway. Although the ruling, if passed, will not apply for the first round of matches, it could be implemented immediately thereafter and may raise concerns about the practicality of such a decision for franchises.

In reality, all franchises except the Cobras would be able to meet the requirement immediately. The Cobras only have one black African on their books, left-arm spinner Siya Simetu. The Dolphins and Knights have each contracted two black African players, the Titans three, the Warriors four and the Lions have the most, at seven.

Sources close to the franchise system said the possibility of some franchises loaning out their black African players to other teams in order to meet the quota also exists. “Sometimes a player won’t get game time at his franchise because there will be too much competition for places,” the insider said. “It’s important that we ensure the players get adequate game time so there would be nothing wrong in them being sent to play for other teams.”

That may defeat the purpose of unearthing and nurturing black talent and Arendse seems hopeful that will not happen. “What we need is for franchises to have four or six black African players in their set-up so that there is internal competition for places. One of the criticisms of the quota system is that it guarantees a player a place in the team but if there are more than the required number, you will be able to counter that,” he said. “What we’ve also seen is that before long, the minimum is far exceeded and that is what we need to build a base.”

The lack of black African players has stood out most starkly in the Test team, which has not fielded a black African since January 2011. Arendse said the national selectors mentioned they get criticized for not picking black African players but their hands are tied because “they only have a handful to choose from”. So CSA has taken it on themselves to “broaden the pool of black African players”.

Cricket is not the only sport to be mulling quotas as a means to advance the cause of players of colour. In August, SA Rugby announced they would introduce a quota from next season, which will require teams in the Vodacom Cup, the second-tier domestic tournament, to have seven players of colour in their 22-man squad and field at least five in the starting XV.

Madramootoo Powers Liberty SC into T20 Blitz Semi’s

brought to you by the #BlueNation

Terrence ‘Coolie Bai’ Madramootoo turned in a spirited all round performance to power Liberty Sports Club past Galaxy Cricket Club and into the Eastern American Cricket Assocation T20 Blitz Semifinals. Madramootoo picked up 2 for 21 and returned to hit four booming sixes in an unbeaten 31 to usher home the victory.

Liberty SC’s Terrence Madramootoo, returned a powerful all-round performance, as LSC reach EACA Blitz T20 semis

Vijendra Singh set the tone for Liberty SC’s bowling attack at Bay Park after Galaxy CC won the toss and chose to bat first. Running into the wind Singh bowled with pace and pinpoint accuracy to turn in 4 overs, 1 maiden, 1 wicket for 15 runs. The Galaxy batsmen found runs difficult to come by as the LSC bowlers held a disciplined line and length on the slow Bay Park outfield.

Singh was well supported by Madramootoo 2 for 21, Marlon Persaud 1 for 26, Andy Harricharran 1 for 8 and Imtiaz Hassan none for 20. Rafeek Nazeer 27 & Metray Balgobin 23 were the top scorers for Galaxy in their final score of 113 for 5 off the allotted 20 overs.

Liberty SC went about the chase sluggishly with the exception of Thakur Singh who spanked a quick-fire 20 at the top which included two fours and a six. His partner Harricharran made 24 during his stay at the wicket. Madramootoo joined the chase with LSC needing a run a ball 50 to close off a well-earned victory. The fall of two quick wickets added some drama to the chase but Madramootoo held his nerve. The power hitter spanked a six in the 14th over, over midwicket and followed that up with 3 more towering sixes off of Sunesh Wazid in the 16th over. The chase was sealed with Imtiaz Hassan hitting back-to-back fours in the 17th over and then a single to finish it off.

Yudesh Bissnauth returned figures of 2 for 13 off 4 overs to be the pick of the Galaxy CC bowlers. Hassan finished on 12 not out.

The young Liberty SC squad will take on the experienced Everest/ACS in the T20Blitz Semi-Final this Sunday, October 6th at the popular Baisley Cage at 1 PM.

Another Dhaniram Ton Catapult Richmond Hill Into Blitz T20 Semis

Eastern American Cricket Association Blitz T20 Quarter-Final

By Royo P. Sankar

A jaunty finish from Sudesh Dhaniram in the final over that went for 24 runs, bowled by Ryan Girdhary—in the final over, set up a 37-run victory for Richmond Hill Cricket Club (RHCC) over Atlantis Cricket Club-NY (ACC) last Sunday at Baisley Park (Cage) located in Queens, NY. Dhaniram walloped eleven sixes and ten fours; in a 49-ball maraud that brought him, a record 6th century for the season in the Eastern American Cricket Association (EACA), (130 not out). Dhaniram was very watchful — early in his innings and bore down on all of the Atlantis bowlers, that were pillaged for 40-plus runs in their allotted 4 overs with the exception of Dwayne Hurley and Greg Robinson, who gave away 24 from 4 overs and 10 from 1 over respectively, and in the process catapulted RHCC into the EACA Blitz T20 semi-finals.

RIchmond Hill’s Sudesh Dhaniram 6th Century over the season, and unbeaten 130 eliminated Atlantis

Richmond Hill quickly, learnt their lesson from the defeat to Liberty Cricket Club — RHCC appeared energized and more confident in this weekend clash with Atlantis and did what they set out to do — deny Atlantis a victory for the third time this season. Inserted to bat first after losing the toss, RHCC lost Zaheer Sadloo (7) to a stunning catch by Ryan Girdhary, fielding at point, diving full stretch to his left with the scorecard on 14.

However, Dhaniram found a use full partner in Debo Sankar, coming in at number 3. The duo plunder a 2nd- wicket partnership of 93 from 50 balls with Dhaniram—engaging in annihilation mode with scintillating stroke-play; balls flying out of the park and missing vehicular traffic by inches; houses struck by white missiles; spectators ducking for cover—while Debo would interject periodically, Smoking anything short to the fence in his 43 from 27 balls that included four boundaries and two well executed maximums before he departed with the score on 115.

Shameer Sadloo (3) lasted only 5 balls, being bowled by Alex Amsterdam, second week in a row, attempting an ambitious big hit. Wahid Ward struck a brisk 14 from 6 balls with a four and six, but lost his stumps to Dwayne Hurley with the score on 147. Kumar Nandalall was run out for 17 with 2 sixes and a solitary boundary from 4 balls while Dhaniram provided the final flourish to the RHCC innings of 228 for 5 from their 20 overs with 4,4,4,4,and 6 off R. Girdhary and returned to the pavilion to a standing ovation with a stroke-filled 130 not out.

RHCC wickets fell at: 14 (Z.Sadloo), 107 (D.Sankar), 134 (S.Sadloo) and 175 (W.Ward). The Atlantis bowling figures: R.Girdhary 4-0-41-0, D.Hurley 4-0-24-2, A.Amsterdan 4-0-46-1, J.Greaves 3-0-45-0, G.Robindon 1-0-10-0 and R.Andrews 4-0-57-1.

Debo Sankar scored 47 in a foundation 2nd wicket partnership for Richmond Hill

Debo Sankar scored 47 in a foundation 2nd wicket partnership for Richmond Hill

Atlantis threatened to chase down Richmond Hill’s 228 for 5 at A asking rate of 11.4 per over, when their openers Ryan Girdhary and Shawn Mason hit 41 from the first 4 overs. Kaleem Bux then had Mason caught for 16 from 7 balls (1×4, 1×6). Alex Amsterdam joined Girdhary and pair saw the scorecard moved quickly to 112 from 38 balls with Girdhary repaying Dhaniram’s only over with two massive sixes. Amsterdam punished Bux for consecutive boundaries before Zaheer Sadloo had him caught for 33 from 20 balls (6x4s). Dhaniram run out K. Bridgepaul for 1 and Jason Greaves was caught off S.Sadloo for 7.

However, Girdhary continued the onslaught on the RHCC bowlers, keeping abreast with the required run rate or just below. He struck S.Sadloo for consecutive boundaries, but Shameer had the last laugh when Wahid Ward took a well-judged running catch to dismiss him for a swashbuckling 75 (7x4s, 4x6s) from a meager 32 deliveries, with the scorecard reading 132 for 4 in 11 overs. With a further 87 required from 54 balls, the rest of Atlantis batsmen lost their way soon after, and were never able to get themselves ahead of the required run rate. Ron Andrews was run out for 14 from 11 balls with a solitary six while Ryan Sukhdeo and Greg Robinson were unbeaten with 16 and 13 respectively when the 20 overs expired.

Allantis wickets fell at: 41 (S.Mason), 112 (A.Amsterdam), 132 (K.Bridgepaul), 132 (R.Girdhary), 141 (J.Greaves) and 174 (R.Andrews). Bowling for RHCC: D. Mcdonald 3-0-37-0 , K.Bux 4-0-37-1, K.Nadalall 3-0-18-0 , S.Dhaniram 1-0-19-0 ,S.Sadloo 4-0-30-2 ,Z.Sadloo 4-0-31-1 and W.Ward 1-0-11-0.

DEMERARA RETAIN NY INTER-COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP

by Sam Sooppersaud

Demerara retain the Guyana Tri-County Championship (NY Edition) when they comfortably defeated Berbice in the Finals at Baisley Pond Park -The Cage- Foch Boulevard, Queens, New York, on Saturday, September 28, 2013. It was a game that saw fortunes switched from one team to the next. In the end, the Demerarians, players and fans alike, had much to celebrate.

Demarara's Troy Dudnauth Champion MVP with 3 wickets and 53

Demarara’s Troy Dudnauth Champion MVP with 3 wickets and 53

Earlier in the day Berbice comfortably overtook an appreciable total put on by Essequibo. Skipper Andy Mohamed, after a belligerent knock fell short of a deserved ton by one run. He opened the Essequibo batting with Prasad Mahadeo who lost his wicket to Sudesh Dhaniram in the 3rd over of the innings and with the score on 18 runs. D. Chow Wee Nam joined his captain and together took the score to 105 when Chow Wee Nam was run out for 26 backing up too far.

Andy was a one-man wrecking machine. He blasted the bowlers all over the cricket field hitting 10-4’s and 3-6’s. When on the threshold of a century he gave his wicket away attempting to take Mahendra Nagamootoo once more over the fence. Many felt that Andy could have simply placed the ball for a single to mid-off, which was vacant. I suppose he wanted to bring up his ton in style. He fell on 99. In the 7 wickets that fell only Andy Mohamed and  Cho Wee Nam were the only two batsmen to have reached double figures. The Essequibo innings ended at 157 for 7 wickets.

Taking the wickets for Berbice: Sudesh Dhaniram 2 for 32 in 4 overs,  Vijai Seenarine 2 for 16 in 4 overs, Mahendra Nagamootoo and Kaleen Bux  1 wicket apiece for 25 and 11 runs respectively.

Essequibo Skipper Azurdeen Andy Mohammed scored 99 in vain

Essequibo Skipper Azurdeen Andy Mohammed scored 99 in vain

Berbice overcame the Essequibo total in the 18th over but not after losing a wicket in the second over. The second wicket stand of 94 runs between Sudesh Dhaniram and former West Indeies Under-19 player, Gajanand Singh, poised Berbice on the road to victory. Both batsmen showed aggression, wanting to “get it over with”. Dhaniram, noted for punishing bowlers continued his trait of doing just that. He hit 9-4’s in his even 50  runs. Singh fell with his individual score on 45 attempting to hit the ball “to Mars”. Skipper Karan Ganesh (18 Not Out)  and Alex Amsterdam (15 Not Out) saw their team safely home. Berice won the match and the right to meet reigning champions, Demerara.

Bowling for Essequibo T. Hassan, S. Wasid, and T. Madramootoo, claimed one wicket each for 33, 33, and 30 runs, respectively.

The finals commenced in front of a large crowd with Demerara winning the toss and inserting their opponents, Berbice, in to bat. This was a game that saw the pendulum of advantage swung from one team then to the next and back again.

In their knock Berbice lost a wicket in the second over with the score on 14; opener Sewkumar Lall lost his middle stump to Andre Kirton, hitting across the line. Gajanan Singh and Dhaniram went 21 runs added.. The score now 3 wickets for 35 runs. With the fall of Skipper Karan Ganesh’ wicket, now four down, it was left to Alex Amsterdam and Vijai Seenarine to do some repairs. They accepted the challenge. Amsterdam scored 34 while Seenarine got 24 runs. With these two out the end was near. Berbice lost their last three wickets for 15 runs, the innings closed at 137runs all out.

The wreckers of the Berbice wickets were: Troy Doodnauth 3 for 24, Andre Kirton

2 for 23, Kumar Nandalall 2 for 22, and S. Sadloo 2 for 28.

Needing 138 runs for victory Demerara felt very confident, knowing that they were a “batting machine” of a side. But Berbice gave them a shock when Sudesh Dhaniram, opening the bowling sent both openers, Z. Saffie and B. Sattaur, to the showers in the first over. Demerara 2 wickets down, 1 run on the board. This became 4 for 17 by the end of the 4th over. The Berbice players and their supporters at this stage were very animated in the elation. But this did not last too long as USA National Batsman, Akeem Dodson and all-rounder, Troy Doodnauth, resorted to damage control. They played cautiously at first, but once settled in, they dissected the Berbice bowling attack.

The fifth wicket stand of Dodson and Doodnauth put on a batting clinic. They milked the singles and punished the bad balls severly. The 101-run, fifth wicket partner was broken in the 17th over with Dodson run out. Doodnauth drove the ball back to bowler Kaleen Bux. The ball ricocheted off his hand  and hit the non-striker’s wicket with Dodson out of his ground. Doodnauth scored 53 and Dodson 58 runs. It was left to Andre Kirton to put on the finishing touch to the Demerara triemph. He did so with some timely hitting: 4, 6,4.

Demerara, 140 for 6, had successfully defended their title.

Bowling for Berbice, S. Dhaniram 4 for 23 in 4 overs, and M. Nagamootoo 1 for 24 in 3 overs.

At the presentation ceremony following the game Demerara were awarded the Tri-County Trophy and the winners purse of $1,500. For their losing effort Berbice received the runner-up prize of $1,000. Troy Doodnauth was awarded the MVP accolade for his match performance: 3 wickets for 24 runs, and a personal score of 53 runs.

The weather for the day was excellent for cricket. The sun shone brightly with a cool breeze blowing across the field. The fans were treated to some entertaining 20/20 cricket.

Dhaniram Ton Richmond Hill Over Centurions

Eastern American Cricket Association T20 Blitz—Double-Header at Baisley Park (Cage).

 By Royo P. Sankar.

Prolific Batsman Sudesh Dhaniram blasted yet another ton, his fifth for the season and in the process scripted yet another Richmond Hill Cricket Club (RHCC) victory. He was well supported by Wahid Ward with a belligerent half-century as the duo piled up a huge partnership of 115 off just 50 balls.

Inserted to bat first after losing the toss to Centurions Cricicket Club, RHCC compile a mammoth 223 off their required 20 overs for the loss of two wickets. Sudesh Dhaniram continued to torment bowlers at will, all around the park this season with another breathtaking  and superb century (106 not out), (11x4s, 7x6s) off just 49 balls, he along with Debo Sankar (27) put together an opening partnership of 94 in 11 overs.

RIchmond Hill’s Sudesh Dhaniram plastered an unbeaten 106 against NY Centurions for his fifth Hundred on the season

Wahid Ward coming in at number 3 then hammered a cameo 67 (1×4,9x6s) providing the late charge for a huge total. He was at his best—mowing every bowler that bowled to him cleanly and very far out of the park. V. Persaud and Carlos B. were the only bowlers that had success with a wicket each.

Facing a mammoth 223 at a asking rate of 11.15 an over, Centurions Cricket Club gave their best performance possible, but a futile attempt to over haul such a huge total. Troy Dudnauth struck a fluent 43 from 32 balls that included 2x4s and 3x6s and Deeraj Sewnanan 38 (1×4 ,2x6s) from 33 balls—gave some life to Centurions response.

Trevor Singh ran himself out backing up to far for 12 and Orrett Myrie (13) went via the same route, was the only other batsmen to reach double digits. As the Centurions innings folded for 123 for 8 when their 20 overs expired. Deryck McDonald and Ramphal Bactowar had two wickets each ,while Kumar Nandalall and Shameer Sadloo picked up one each with RHCC winning by a huge 100 runs.

Hassan Leads Liberty To Shock Richmond Hill

EACA Blitz T20

Imtiaz ‘Tizzle’ Hassan blasted a swashbuckling 51 not out and returned to pick up 3 for 21 in 4 overs to lead Liberty Sports Club’s upset of Richmond Hill CC by 45 runs in their EACA T20 Blitz Zone 1 match up on Sunday 22nd Sept.

Richmond Hill started the day by blowing away NY Centurion in the first match of the Baisley Cage double header. Led by another ton from Sudesh Dhaniram, the home team posted 223 in their 20 overs and returned to blow out their opposition for 124.

Liberty’s Imtiaz Hassan, 51 not out and 3/21 blew out Richmond Hill

Liberty SC won the toss and chose to take first strike in favorable conditions for the second match. The boys in blue got off to a rocketing start thanks to Thakur Singh (30, 5 fours & 1 six) who took a liking to Deryck McDonald’s slow swingers. At 50 without loss after 6 overs LSC looked set to post a total in excess of 150.

Dhaniram removed Thakur and triggered a mid order collapse which saw skipper Danesh Deonarain, heavy hitter Terrence Madramootoo and Altaaf Habibulla back on the concrete bleachers without bothering the score much. Andy Harricharran (29, 3 fours) who opened the batting with Thakur held his end but could not resist chipping down the track to Kumar Nandallal to be stumped. This left the score at 80 for 5 in the 14th over.

Imtiaz joined the proceedings and immediately swung the match back in LSC’s favor. The imposing left hander took the game to the RHCC attack striking 3 monstrous sixes and 4 blistering fours to race to an unbeaten 51. He was especially brutal to veteran Ramphal Bactowar and his exploits included taking 17 off Bactowar’s 3rd over. Marlon Persaud and Hemchandarbose Persaud made useful contributions and batted around Hassan as LSC posted a final score of 160 for 8. The inning was closed off by Andray Persaud whipping the last delivery for a six over long on.

Defending the total, Hassan found success in Liberty’s first over when he had the day’s centurion, Sudesh Dhaniram, caught 1st ball at long off, the catch taken by the ever reliable Thakur Singh. Hassan would make two more crippling blows, bowling Shameer Sadloo in his 2nd over and getting Wazid Ward to hold out to Thakur once again at long off in his third over. This reduced RHCC to 33 for 3 in the 5th over and helped Hassan to figures of 4 overs 3 for 21. It soon became 35 for 4 in the 6th over when Harricharran had Debo Shankar miss queue a pull to a diving Altaaf Habibulla at short midwicket.

Imran Ali (28) & Zaheer Sadloo (26) started on a recovery partnership but their inclination to avoid risks resulted in an ever climbing required run rate. The pair added 53 but used up 8 overs to do so with LSC only allowing 6 boundaries during their stay. Madramootoo removed Ali with his 2nd ball after being introduced into the attack and that triggered the collapse LSC was looking for.

Marlon Persaud (3 for 22 off 4 overs) then cleaned up the RHCC tail with help from Andy Harricharran (2 for 14 off 4 overs) and Madramootoo (2 for 18 off 2.2 overs) as Liberty SC bowled out RHCC for 115 in 19.2 overs.

The win means Liberty SC will finish at the top of the T20Blitz Zone 1 having defeated Victory CC, NY Centurion & RHCC while gaining a walk over after Hillside SC played an unregistered player in their match one week previous. #TheBlueNation now awaits their opposition in the T20Blitz Quarter Final Playoff spot.
